Patricia Mallia, managing director of Mediterranean Weddings comes from a mixed background of event management, catering and tourism. In 2002 she met her Maltese husband, graphic designer, Matthew. Their experience in planning their own wedding in Malta led to the concept behind the company - to assist couples in planning the most memorable wedding imaginable. Using a reliable database of services will allow them to create not only a wonderful Mediterranean experience for you but for the entire wedding party.

Surrounded by crystal clear waters and drenched in sunshine, the Maltese islands are the perfect backdrop for any wedding.

With something for everyone, you and your guests can dive into the warm Mediterranean Sea, bask in sunshine or wander through the historic cities.

The islanders are famous for their hospitality and warm welcomes. You will be enticed by their cuisine, festivals and the easy pace of island living.

Legal documentation Church and State
Paperwork! No matter where you marry there is always paperwork. However we will take the hassle out of it by doing it for you. Upon meeting with you we will go through all the relevant details, dates and identification forms required.

Premarriage Course
In order to marry in the Catholic Church you must complete a premarriage course. We will book this for you at a suitable time and location.

Not everyone wishes to marry in a Church. Naturally
it depends on your preference and all can be catered for. Civil weddings can be arranged at the Civil Registry office or at a desirable location. If however you wish to marry in one of the many idyllic and picturesque Churches, we will look after all the arrangements.

This is the most important part of the day and we will work closely with you to ensure it is perfect.

Malta have some of the most wonderful restaurants you will ever eat in. We will not recommend a venue unless we have dined in it ourselves. Thus ensuring you will receive the best service, quality and value. Patricia works closely with a number of restaurants which provide a very personal service to clients. The possibilities are endless and she oversees the entire menu creation with the chef to ensure you have a feast to remember. Alternative reception venues such as boats and beach parties, to name a few, can also be arranged.

As part of the personalised service, Mediterranean Weddings will look after your wedding stationery. Matthew will design your wedding invitations to suit the colour and style of your wedding day. They can be as elegant or colourful as the day itself.

In addition to the design they will also look after the printing of the invitations, mail them out to your guests and follow up on your RSVP's.
